Ex-Boyfriend of Actress Gina Lima Found Dead Days After Her Tragic Death in Shocking New Twist
The ex-lover of deceased Vivamax actress and model Gina Lima was found dead in his home.
Model Ivan Cezar Ronquillo was discovered lifeless in the same condo unit on Wednesday morning, Nov. 19, where Ronquillo found Lima dead a few days prior.

According to Lt. Col. Jose Luis Aguirre, station commander of La Loma Police Station, Ronquillo was rushed to the Quezon City General Hospital, but doctors failed to revive him and declared him dead.
“May nagreport po sa amin na itong boyfriend [ng namatay na Vivamax actress] na si Ivan Cezar Ronquillo ay nagpakamatay,” Aguirre told DZRH News.
Soon after midnight on Nov. 19, Ronquillo posted on Facebook a carousel of photos of him and Lima during happier times. A video showed the couple hanging out in a condo unit.
Another one showed Ronquillo crying over a woman whose face is partly hidden. Comments speculated the woman was Lima. In the caption, Ronquillo wrote, “Eto na pala yung huling pahinga natin baby dapat sinabi mo mahal na mahal kita sinermonan mo pa ko kay papa kasi di ko binati at panay ka sabi sa papa mo na namimiss mo na siya ngayon baby susunod ako sayo dyan kung asan ka man.”
In another post, Ronquillo showed videos of his various injuries, blaming a man for his wounds.
Lima was discovered lifeless by Ronquillo Sunday night, Nov. 16.
According to a report by TV Patrol, Ronquillo brought her to the Quezon City General Hospital, where Lima was declared dead on arrival.
Officials from the Scene of the Crime Operation investigated Ronquillo’s condo unit and found no evidence of a struggle.
In the initial report, Lima’s cause of death was filed as cardio respiratory distress.
Investigators found bruises on Lima’s thighs, but police said these are inconclusive and that the victim’s body needs to undergo an autopsy to determine Lima’s exact cause of death.
Reports said Lima and Ronquillo had not been in a relationship for three years prior to the incident.
An investigation on what happened to Lima and Ronquillo is ongoing.
