Actress Gina Lima Found Dead by Ex-Boyfriend at 23
Gina Lima was found unconscious by her ex-boyfriend in their condo in Quezon City, Philippines. Her family is awaiting the results of her autopsy.
Actress Gina Lima passed away on November 17. Gina was found unconscious by her ex-boyfriend in their condo in Brgy. Katipunan, Quezon City, Philstar reported.
Ronquillo, Gina Lima’s ex-boyfriend, told the police that when he woke up around 8:30 a.m., Gina was no longer moving. He then took her to the Quezon City General Hospital. Medical staff later declared Gina dead. Based on the initial report, Gina Lima’s cause of death was recorded as “cardio-respiratory failure”.
There is still no official conclusion on the cause of Gina’s death. Her family and friends said they are waiting for the autopsy results.
According to Philstar, Gina Lima and her ex-boyfriend broke up 3 years ago. However, Ronquillo recently visited Gina at her apartment.
Gina Lima was born in 2002, the youngest of four siblings. Through her personal page, Gina Lima introduced herself as a Vivamax artist. Before her death, she participated in the movie My Fairy Tail Love Story, which featured Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador, produced by Regal Entertainment.
In addition, she also developed her modeling career and participated in many photo shoots for brands.
In a post on September 13, Gina’s sister wrote: “I miss you, Gina Lima. You are the only one who is far away from us. Everyone is in Bayugan. I wish you were in Bayugan too. Always be careful when you are in Manila.”
Meanwhile, friends described Gina as a vibrant, optimistic, ambitious person who always dreamed of achieving more, PEP said.
About five days before her death, the actress shared a post that read: “To myself, in five years I will make you proud, I promise.” Posts on Gina’s personal page showed that she had a great love for travel and nightlife.
