‘Meteor Garden’ actor marries for the second time
Vanness Wu has announced his second marriage at the age of 48. He is a member of the group F4 and rose to fame through the drama “Meteor Garden.”
On June 29, “Meteor Garden” actor Vanness Wu surprised fans by announcing his marriage on his personal social media page. On Weibo, the artist posted a photo showing two hands clasped tightly together, with both individuals wearing wedding rings on their ring fingers.
He wrote: “Every good thing comes from God. The year 2026 is filled with blessings: touring with my brothers once again and performing on the stage I love. Now, I am even more fortunate to have the most important person in my life by my side.”
Wu also expressed his gratitude to those who have supported him over the years. He wrote: “I sincerely thank you all for accompanying me through the various stages of my life, and I am grateful to be able to share this love with everyone.”
Vanness Wu was previously married to Arissa Cheo—a wealthy Singaporean heiress—in 2013, following a seven-year relationship marked by several breakups and reconciliations. The couple met while collaborating on a music video project. However, the marriage was short-lived; reports of a rift between them frequently surfaced due to differences in personality and lifestyle. By the end of 2018, they had officially finalized their divorce after five years of marriage.
Since the separation, Wu’s private life has remained a subject of public interest. Last year, he was spotted attending a wedding in Indonesia with a woman believed to be his girlfriend; she also appeared in photos alongside the artist’s mother. However, at the time, Vanness Wu’s management agency denied speculation that the woman was the future bride of the F4 member.
Born in 1978, Vanness Wu is a member of the famous group F4. The members rose to fame through the drama *Meteor Garden* and various other music and film projects.
The year 2026 marks a significant milestone for Vanness Wu. In addition to entering a new chapter in his personal life, he is reuniting with Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Ken Chu for the “FFOREVER Star City” tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of F4.
