Kim Heechul addresses rumors: ‘Never drank with SM junior artists in Japan’

On the 4th, a fan on the communication platform Bubble asked Kim Heechul, “Heechul, what on earth did you do in Japan?”
In response, Kim Heechul said, “I have also seen the rumors. I’m discussing it with the company to prevent any accidents on Instagram.”
He clarified, “To prevent you from worrying or feeling disappointed, I’ll briefly explain here. I have never once eaten or drunk outside with our company’s junior artists, nor have I met them separately. I don’t even have their contact information.”
Earlier that day, rumors that NCT’s Haechan and Johnny slept with three Japanese women in Tokyo spread on various social media platforms suggesting that Kim Heechul had enjoyed nightlife activities in Japan with junior idol members from SM Entertainment.
These rumors were reportedly started by a Japanese netizen. The timing coincided with a significant drop in SM Entertainment’s stock, leading some to speculate that the rumors might have influenced the stock’s decline.
Kim Heechul’s statement aims to dispel these unfounded rumors and reassure his fans of his innocence in the matter.
