On June 13, Kim Sejeong shut down the rumors during a Weverse live broadcast. While reading her fans’ comments, she asked with a surprised expression, “There’s a rumor spreading that Hyo Seop and I went to Japan together? Why would I go to Japan with him?”

The idol-turned-actress then went on to clarify, “I went together with my best friend and my older brother.”
