Through security camera footage, the traffic police determined that the vehicle that had traveled more than 5 km belonged to Song Young Kyu and stopped the vehicle to arrest him. Test results showed that Song Young Kyu’s blood alcohol concentration exceeded 0.08% – the level that results in his driver’s license being revoked under Korean law.
Song Young Kyu stated that he had been drinking with an acquaintance before deciding to drive home by himself.
