Netizens are expressing their awe and sorrow as Koo Jun Yup continues to mourn the passing of his late wife, Barbie Hsu.

As reported, the member of the legendary K-pop duo Clon has been seen almost daily at the final resting place of Barbie Hsu (Xu Xiyuan) at Chin Pao San Cemetery in Taiwan. On an online forum, netizens discovered new testimonies from visitors who had come to the cemetery for their own loved ones and happened to witness Koo Jun Yup quietly visiting Barbie Hsu’s grave and leaving fresh flowers.

In one photo, he is seen sitting in front of the grave on a portable chair while handling tasks on his phone.

Visitors who encountered him described him as kind but visibly heartbroken, a sorrow they could sense from his expression. One person, who bravely asked if he was indeed Koo Jun Yup, shared that he politely greeted them and expressed thanks for their condolences.

Another visitor testified that their daughter works at the cemetery and confirmed that he still visits the grave every single day.

An anonymous user on Threads also revealed that their late father is buried next to Barbie Hsu, and every time they visit, Koo Jun Yup is there—even during days of heavy rain.

Barbie Hsu passed away on February 2 during a family trip to Japan, after developing pneumonia alongside the flu. She was 48. Koo Jun Yup and her family completed the cremation in Japan and brought her ashes back to Taiwan on February 5.

Internationally, Barbie Hsu was best known for her iconic role as Shan Cai in the Taiwanese drama ‘Meteor Garden,’ which catapulted her to fame in the early 2000s. She and Koo Jun Yup first met in 1998 and dated briefly before breaking up due to long-distance and opposition from their management. More than 20 years later, after Hsu divorced a Chinese businessman in 2021, Koo reached out—and the two quickly rekindled their relationship, marrying in 2022. Hsu leaves behind a son and daughter from her previous marriage.
