The news of Wang Yibo’s accident is drawing significant attention from fans.
On March 28, Wang Yibo participated in a practice session for the 2025 China GT Championship at the Ningbo International Circuit. However, during the session, his car unexpectedly lost control and veered off the track.
According to Sohu, the accident was caused by heavy rain, which made the track slippery, leading to Wang Yibo’s car skidding and crashing into the safety barrier. Wang Yibo’s studio promptly issued a statement reassuring fans that he was in stable condition, only experiencing dizziness. Wang Yibo is one of the drivers participating in the pre-season race for the 2025 China GT Championship, taking place from March 27 to 29. In this event, he is teaming up with professional racer Fang Junyu to co-drive car number 85.

In 2020, during the ZIC motorcycle race at the Zhuhai International Circuit (Guangdong), he was forced off the racing line by an opponent, causing his bike to lose control and roll multiple times on the grass.
