Actor Lee Sun Kyun reported to have passed away

Actor Lee Sun Gyun, who was under police investigation for suspected drug use, is now reported to have passed away this morning (27th).

According to police and fire authorities, Lee was discovered unconscious in his car near Waryong Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 10:30 AM.

Lee had been under investigation since last October for alleged drug use, consistently denying the accusations. Amidst the ongoing investigation, Lee had requested a polygraph test from the police yesterday (26th).

On the 23rd, during his third police summons, Lee stated, “I hope the police will judiciously determine who between me and the blackmailers holds credibility in their statements.”
