Netizens have a hard time recognizing Park Bom in her new selcas
On August 14, former 2NE1 member/solo artist Park Bom updated her Instagram with a new set of selcas.
In one post, she wrote, “Hello. This is Bom,” before following up with another post which read, “Bom and green”. In particular, Park Bom showed off a slightly different makeup style from her 2NE1 days, accenting a bold eyeline.

However, some netizens had a hard time recognizing the singer, possibly due to her different makeup style. Onlookers commented,
“I don’t recognize her at all.”
“If no one told me that was Park Bom, I would never have guessed.”
“Did she use a strong filter..?”
“Is it photoshopped?? It looks like a completely different person.”
“I think it’s just the filter she used. When she performed in person a few months ago, she looked more like her usual self.”
“That selca filter doesn’t suit her.”
“I think it’s the eye makeup.”
“The first pic is really unrecognizable. She looks more like her in the other pics. Well, at least she seems to be doing well.”

Meanwhile, Park Bom most recently greeted music listeners earlier this year with a remake of Solid’s 1995 hit “Holding The End Of This Night”.
