Cha Eun Woo broke down crying and rushed back to Korea, ASTRO was shocked by Moonbin’s passing.
Fans as well as those close to Moonbin were deeply shocked by the devastating news.
On April 19, at 8:10 PM (Korean time), Moonbin (ASTRO) was found dead in his private home in Gangnam, Seoul. His manager discovered him and called for emergency medical assistance, but Moonbin did not survive. The cause of death is suspected to be suicide, and Moonbin passed away at the age of 25.
This news has caused a great shock to the public, and those close to the male idol are no exception. Dispatch reported that all members of ASTRO were devastated by Moonbin’s passing. Cha Eun Woo, who was in the United States for the Coachella music festival and BLACKPINK’s after-party, has quickly flown back to South Korea. Prior to that, Cha Eun Woo had gone to the US to attend the Coachella music festival and BLACKPINK’s after-party.
Cha Eun Woo’s personal manager stated that he is truly devastated and heartbroken, with tears constantly streaming down his sorrowful face upon hearing the sad news.
Fantagio Entertainment, Moonbin’s management company, has released an official statement confirming the idol’s passing at the age of 25. Moonbin’s funeral will be held on April 22 at Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
Moonbin was born in 1998 and debuted with ASTRO along with Cha Eun Woo, Rocky, Sanha, MJ, and Jin Jin in 2016. Prior to that, Moonbin was a child actor, playing the role of young So Yi Jung in the drama “Boys Over Flowers” and appearing in TVXQ’s “Balloon” music video. The late male idol was also the older brother of female idol Moon Sua (Billlie).
Moonbin’s death has left the public devastated and heartbroken.
