Alleged Whisteblower Suddenly Apologizes To Lee Yi Kyung, Netizens Confused
Recently, a netizen exposed actor Lee Yi Kyung’s private life, claiming to be an alleged victim.
However, most recently, the alleged victim “A” made a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), apologizing for their posts.
Hello, fellow Koreans. Some may know, but recently, I posted various photos regarding actor Lee Yi Kyung. I didn’t think that something that started as a joke would receive this much interest. But the more I kept posting and using AI photos, the more I started thinking that way.

I am truly sorry for spreading malicious rumors about actor Lee Yi Kyung. What started as a fan’s enthusiasm gradually led to emotional involvement. What began as something fun started to feel real, and I feel guilty about it. If there is any responsibility I need to take, I will take it. Being German, please understand if my sentences are awkward.

K-Netizens were in utter shock at the sudden turn of events.

- “??? Just sue them. This is crazy. The keywords are so shocking, it would be strange not to sue them for making his image go downhill.”
- “They’re just going to end it like that? Do they think that the damage they have done disappears if they apologize? Hope he sues them.”
- “Then what’s up with the DM screenshot video?”
- “Are you sure this person is German? Everything is so suspicious. I feel like many celebrities are going to be victims of this, so they need to take strong legal action.”
Previously, “A” posted a blog with photos and screenshots of text messages exchanged with Lee Yi Kyung. Not long after, they deleted the blog post and stated, “I’m not doing this for the money, I’m just gathering evidence.”
Lee Yi Kyung’s agency released an official statement refuting all claims and stated they would “assess the extent of direct and indirect damages resulting from the spread of false information and take appropriate measures.”
However, “A” continued to make posts on various social media platforms despite his denial to all claims.
Meanwhile, Lee Yi Kyung has yet to respond to “A”‘s apology.
