Kang Daniel Suddenly Cancels Concert, Apologizes On-Site: “Local System Issues”
Kang Daniel cancels Jersey City concert due to local system issues, personally apologizing to fans as agency promises full refunds.
On September 7 (local time), Kang Daniel’s agency, ARA, released a statement announcing the cancellation of the Act: New Episode show in Jersey City, NJ. “We sincerely apologize to all fans who were looking forward to today’s concert in Jersey City. We know many of you traveled far and waited with great anticipation, and it pains us to share this news,” the company said.
The agency explained that despite the team’s best efforts, inadequate preparations and unexpected operational problems with the local system made it impossible to deliver a safe and high-quality stage. “We discussed with the local staff until the very last moment, but decided that forcing the show under such incomplete conditions would be a greater disservice to fans,” ARA added. Tickets will be automatically and fully refunded without additional requests.
According to fans present at the venue, Kang Daniel personally came forward to explain the situation and apologize to the audience.
Kang Daniel is currently on a large-scale U.S. tour covering 12 major cities including Washington D.C. and New York. He will then travel to South America to meet fans in Argentina and Brazil.
