Na Dong Hyun was found dead at his home by police at the age of 46. The YouTuber was last seen at a fashion event on September 4.
YouTuber Na Dong Hyun, who ran The Great Library (or Daedoseogwan/Daedo) and appeared on Netflix’s The Influencer, has passed away at the age of 46.
Harold Corp reported that the YouTuber was found dead at his home in Gwangjin District at around 8:40 a.m. on September 6 (Korean time).
Emergency responders and police discovered the YouTuber’s body after receiving a report from an acquaintance of his. The acquaintance had an appointment with the YouTuber but did not show up and could not be reached. Therefore, the acquaintance called the police. Police did not find a suicide note or any other signs of crime at the scene.
YouTuber Gomong shared, “I pray for his soul. When I was lonely, he gave me strength through his broadcasts and helped change my life. He sent me long advice when he heard that my health was not good and he went to the premiere of a good movie with me.”
Na Dong Hyun started streaming around 2010 and was also known as a BJ on AfreecaTV (now Soop). He then moved to YouTube.
Na Dong Hyun is one of the most successful first-generation internet streamers, with a following of 1.44 million. He is also an entertainment star who has participated in many TV shows, such as The Influencer, Find Super K, Video Star, and Voice Trot.
He was last seen attending the Seoul Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 event held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) on September 4.
