Kim Jong-kook Frustrated Over Photo Incident Involving BTS’s Jungkook, Clarifies Ahead of His Upcoming Wedding
On August 21, Kim Jong-kook uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel “Gym Jong-kook” titled “Let’s Unite, Chanyeol… (Feat. Chanyeol, Ma Sun-ho, Choi Han-jin).”
In the clip, Kim shared that he and BTS’s Jungkook had posed for a photo with Ma Sun-ho at the gym. However, when Ma Sun-ho later posted on social media, he only uploaded the two-shot with Jungkook, leaving Kim out.
“I never ask for photos, whether it’s Taehyung (V) or Jungkook. But Ma Sun-ho asked me to take one, so the three of us did. Yet only the two-shot made it online,” Kim said, adding humorously, “I mean, unless I were some celebrity who caused a big scandal, I don’t see why I should be cut out.”
Ma Sun-ho later explained that two photos were taken—one with three people and one with just him and Jungkook. Since Jungkook’s mask was off in one shot, he felt more comfortable posting that version. Kim, however, pointed out that the decision wasn’t Jungkook’s, but Ma Sun-ho’s alone.
Despite joking through much of his complaint, Kim made it clear he felt left out.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook is set to marry a non-celebrity bride on September 5, a wedding announcement that has already become one of the most talked-about stories in Korean entertainment.
