Actor Lee Min-ho, known by his stage name Lee Tae-ri, will marry a non-celebrity this May in a private ceremony.
South Korean actor Lee Min-ho (stage name Lee Tae-ri) is preparing to marry this May, marking a new chapter in his personal life.
On April 1st, his agency, Y1 Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating that the actor will marry his “precious partner” in an intimate ceremony attended only by family and close friends. His future bride is reportedly a non-celebrity, and to respect her privacy, specific details such as the exact date, time, and location have not been revealed.
The agency added, “We look forward to your blessings and support as Lee Tae-ri embarks on this new journey. He will continue to connect with audiences through diverse projects and active acting activities.”
Lee Tae-ri, whose real name is Lee Min-ho, rose to fame as a child actor, winning hearts with his role as Jeong-bae in the 1998 SBS sitcom Sunny Wind Obstetrics and Gynecology. He starred alongside Kim Seong-eun, who played Mi-dal-i, and even made famous memorable lines like “Oh my god!”
In a previous interview, he recalled his early career, sharing that he was only six years old at the time and couldn’t read Korean fluently. “My parents would read the lines to me, and I memorized them by listening. I didn’t even understand what ‘Oh my god!’ meant,” he recalled.
Since then, Lee Tae-ri has built a solid career, appearing in popular dramas such as “Prince on the Rooftop,” “Hwajung, You Are Extraordinary,” and “Taejong Lee Bang-won,” showcasing his versatility across various genres.
