Chavit Singson publicly denies rumors of a romantic relationship with Jillian Ward!
Former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson has renewed his denial of having a “special relationship” with Kapuso actress Jillian Ward, suggesting they should meet so they can both deny the speculations together.
The businessman addressed the issue during an episode of The Men’s Room podcast with Stanley Chi and Janno Gibbs on December 28.
When asked if he had ever known or met Jillian, the former Ilocos Sur governor answered, “Hindi. Sa awa ng Diyos, hindi pa.”
“Hindi pa. Sana nga,” he later said, reiterating his statement.

The rumors linking Chavit and Jillian first surfaced in October, with claims online branding the businessman as the actress’ alleged benefactor. Jillian later broke down as she denied the allegations in an interview with Boy Abunda. Asked why he thought their names were being linked, Chavit said meeting might help clear things up.
“’Yun na nga eh. Pero sana may magpapakilala [sa amin] para pareho naming i-dedeny. Para mawala na. Kasi nagde-deny ako, nagde-deny siya, parang naglolokohan lang eh. Kaya kailangan mag-meet kami para pareho naming i-deny,” he said.

When Stanley asked what message he wanted to send to the Kapuso actress, Chavit laughed and replied jokingly, “Um, sana nga maging totoo,” a remark made with humor as he continued to dismiss the rumors.
Chavit also once again denied being romantically linked to actress Yen Santos, stressing that their relationship has always been platonic. “Kaibigan lang. Kaibigan,” he said. “Nung araw pa, bata pa siya, kaibigan ko na.”
This was already the second time the businessman addressed the rumors publicly. In an earlier interview with selected members of the press in October, he dismissed the claims as mere gossip.
“Marites lang. Naririnig ko nga yun. Marami ngang nalilink sa akin. Pero puro Marites yan,” he said. “Marites lang yun.”
When questions about Yen continued during that interview, Chavit tried to move the conversation forward with humor. “Sinabi ko na kanina eh you can ask any question except [tungkol sa] babae – takot ako diyan eh,” he quipped.
Both actresses have also spoken up against the rumors. In a vlog with the businessman, Yen clarified that a child previously rumored to be her love child with Chavit is actually her brother, who is also the politician’s godchild.
“Parang more than a decade na kasi he’s a good family friend. Super tropa ‘to ng aking parents kaya lagi tayo na iissue. Meron pa nga daw tayong anak di ba? Malaki na daw yung anak natin si Yan Yan,” she shared.
“Guys, hindi po namin yun anak. Kapatid ko yun at ninong siya nun,” she added.
Chavit responded by saying, “Well, wala naman okay lang dahil yung iba marites lang.”
Jillian Ward also firmly denied the allegations in her interview with Boy Abunda on October 21, saying, “Hindi talaga totoo. I never met him, never po kaming nagkausap… Hindi ko nga alam kung kilala niya ako eh. Hindi talaga kami magkakilala.”
Meanwhile, Chavit recently made headlines after announcing that he will be in talks with the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) former executives in January to discuss the possibility of buying out the pageant franchise, whose 2025 edition has been burdened by multiple controversies.
