Actor Xu Kai Accused of Cheating on Ex-Girlfriend with Another Actress
Xu Kai has been accused by his ex-girlfriend of “two-timing” during their relationship, allegedly getting involved with another actress.
On the morning of August 22, Chinese social media exploded with claims that Xu Kai had dated actress Xu Lisha, known for her role in Delicacies Destiny.

The story went viral after Xu Lisha replied to a private message from a netizen asking about her connection with Xu Kai. She confirmed: “Yes, I was Xu Kai’s girlfriend.”
According to Xu Lisha, Xu Kai’s entire team knew about their relationship. Xu Kai had even suggested going public, but she was afraid it would negatively impact her and her family.
Netizens also noticed that Xu Lisha had used her official account to “like” the promotional post for Xu Kai’s newly aired drama The Long Night. She even shared the song I Love You So alongside a photo of herself in a yellow dress, which many believed to be a cryptic reference to their romance. On another secondary account, Xu Lisha frequently posted about love and relationships.
Later, Xu Lisha clarified: “I am no longer Xu Kai’s girlfriend. We broke up at the end of 2022 because he was photographed checking into a hotel with Zhao Qing. I will slowly reveal everything to everyone.” She also posted several photos of Xu Kai, including one where the two were holding hands.
Back in December 2022, a blogger leaked photos and videos of Xu Kai and actress Zhao Qing hugging intimately and entering a hotel together, only leaving the next morning.
According to Xu Lisha, Xu Kai’s alleged cheating was the reason for their breakup.
As the controversy spiraled, Yu Zheng — producer and head of Xu Kai’s agency Huanyu Entertainment — issued a statement denying the dating rumors. He said Xu Kai is currently single, and while he did work with Xu Lisha briefly in 2021, they no longer keep in contact.
Yu Zheng accused Xu Lisha of deliberately bringing up the past to gain attention, especially as Xu Kai’s new drama is airing. He added that the company had reported the matter to the police to take action against those spreading false rumors.
But Xu Lisha fired back: “You can’t call the police to arrest me just because I was cheated on, right?”
