The 33-year-old famous designer was suddenly found dead on a yacht, the police are investigating.
Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra was found unconscious on a boat anchored at the Montauk Yacht Club, USA at midnight. The police are conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Suffolk County Police (New York State, USA) informed that the woman found dead at the Montauk Yacht Club was Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra, 33 years old, living in Manhattan.

Nolan-O’Slatarra was found unconscious on a small boat anchored here in the early morning of August 5. Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports from residents that they heard screams from the pier late on August 4 and found the victim unconscious.
Some people tried to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Nolan-O’Slatarra but were unsuccessful. Paramedics later arrived and pronounced her dead.
Police said a preliminary investigation into Nolan-O’Slatarra’s cause of death was inconclusive. Her body has been turned over to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Nolan-O’Slatarra is an entrepreneur and founder of the fashion brand East x East. In her last TikTok video, posted on July 1, she shared that her brand had just opened a pop-up store at Gurney’s in Montauk.
Nolan-O’Slatarra was born in Carlow, Ireland, and moved to the United States at the age of 26, according to the Irish Independent. In an interview in 2024, she described herself as “a small girl from a small town who wanted to go out into the world and pursue a big dream.”
Members of the Montauk Yacht Club, a popular summer destination for luxury yachts and wealthy vacationers, remembered Nolan-O’Slatarra fondly, according to the New York Post. One said she was “very friendly,” “always smiling,” and “well-liked by the community.” “Her sudden passing will certainly cause a lot of conversation,” the person added.
