Female Star Drugged and Sexually Assaulted by Male Colleague, Intimate Photos Secretly Taken and Spread Across Chat Groups
The public is outraged by the horrifying incident this female celebrity has endured.
On July 4, China Times reported that during a television show appearance, DJ and model Rada (Chinese name: Wang Ruo Xi) made a shocking revelation about a dark chapter in her life—being drugged, sexually assaulted, and having explicit photos of her leaked. According to Rada, the traumatic incident occurred when she was 24 years old.
At the time, she had just gone through a heartbreak and ended up heavily intoxicated at a gathering with friends. A male friend and colleague, with whom she had been close for 7–8 years, offered to take her home.
However, Rada never expected that this trusted friend would take advantage of her in such a vile way. She revealed that while she was semi-conscious, he sexually assaulted her. Despite her attempts to fight back, she was overpowered and even beaten until she lost consciousness. After the assault, Rada went straight to the police to file a report. However, she later decided to withdraw the complaint out of fear that her family would learn about the humiliating ordeal.
What Rada didn’t anticipate was that the perpetrator had secretly taken explicit photos of her while she was unconscious and distributed them in multiple male-only chat groups. Disturbingly, many of these groups reportedly included well-known male celebrities in the Taiwanese (China) entertainment industry.
Rada explained that at the time, she was too young and afraid to confront the public backlash that could come from news of her assault and the leaked photos becoming a media scandal. Out of fear and shame, she chose to remain silent and forgave the man who had violated her. It wasn’t until years later, during the TV broadcast, that she finally found the courage to recount the trauma to her parents.
Her confession left both the studio audience and fellow artists in shock. On social media, netizens expressed fury, demanding that Rada reveal the man’s identity and file formal charges against him.
