The late actress Kim Sae Ron’s mother is preparing to directly refute Kim Soo Hyun’s claims, asserting that they are false. The bereaved family has expressed anger, accusing Gold Medalist of distorting the truth.

On March 14, it was confirmed that Kim Sae Ron’s mother, identified as A, is preparing a rebuttal to statements made by Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Medalist.

Kim Soo Hyun’s agency finally announced and revealed details about his relationship with Kim Sae Ron.

A is reportedly experiencing significant stress following her daughter’s passing, which has led to facial nerve paralysis, severely affecting her daily life. Due to her condition, B, who has cared for Kim Sae Ron since birth, has been speaking on behalf of the bereaved family in interviews. The individual who appeared on the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute under the name ‘Kim Sae Ron’s aunt’ is also B. Additionally, the cousin who had discussions with Kim Sae Ron regarding her statement in March last year is B’s biological daughter. The two families have maintained a close bond for over 20 years, with Kim Sae Ron referring to B as her aunt.

In its March 14 statement, Gold Medalist claimed, “The whistleblower who appeared on Garosero Research Institute and made false claims alleged to be a family member of Kim Sae Ron, but they are actually an acquaintance of her mother.” The agency further stated, “This informant, whose identity is unclear, is distorting facts and spreading rumors.”

According to Kim Sae Ron’s family, Gold Medalist was already aware of B’s existence. They assert that B was so close to Kim Sae Ron that she was addressed as ‘aunt’ and even personally picked up the actress for Gold Medalist-related schedules, directly interacting with agency officials.

Despite her health struggles, A has decided to issue a statement because she believes Gold Medalist’s claims contain several distortions of the truth. The mother and the bereaved family have expressed strong indignation over the agency’s stance.

Gold Medalist’s statement also addressed the dating rumors between Kim Sae Ron and actor Kim Soo Hyun, acknowledging their past relationship but claiming they only dated between the summer of 2019 and the fall of 2020, after she had reached adulthood.

Additionally, the agency refuted allegations that Kim Soo Hyun pressured Kim Sae Ron with a hefty penalty fee, leading to her death. “The issuance of a proof of content document was an unavoidable procedure to avoid liability for breach of duty,” they stated. “We never pressured her to repay a debt.”

However, critics argue that Kim Soo Hyun’s camp had previously denied dating rumors with Kim Sae Ron in March last year, suggesting that this contradiction exposes their past dishonesty.
