Korean actress Kang Myung-joo, recently known for her unique role in “Wo Young-woo, the strange lawyer”, passed away at the age of 54 due to cancer. Her funeral was held solemnly at Room No. 11, Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall at 7:40 a.m. (Korean time) on March 2. On her personal page, Kang Myung Joo’s daughter – actress Park Se Young – expressed her sadness and grief over her mother’s passing: “My mother started a new journey yesterday afternoon. I would be very grateful if you always remember my mother – the respected actress Kang Myung Joo, remember the stages that my mother cherished and her shining moments”. It is known that during the time fighting cancer, the late artist still participated in the play Bea and received many compliments from experts.
