22-Year-Old Actress Mysteriously Goes Missing, Family Desperately Seeks Help
The sudden disappearance of a young and beautiful actress while traveling to a new city for filming has caused a public outcry.
On the evening of February 27, according to QQ, the sudden and unusual disappearance of actress Long Lisha has garnered widespread attention in China. Her family and friends have taken to social media to plead for help from the public and authorities.
Long Lisha is a musical theater student at the Communication University of China and previously performed at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. According to her classmates, two days ago, she traveled alone from Beijing to Xi’an (Shaanxi, China) to join a film crew. She was cast as the second female lead in a short film titled I Became a Leader, which had a scheduled shooting duration of 15 days. After arriving in Xi’an, Long Lisha remained in contact with her family and friends, but her behavior started to raise concerns.
First, her boyfriend discovered that the location-sharing feature on her phone had been abruptly turned off. When a classmate called to ask where she was, Long Lisha claimed she was filming in Weinan (Shaanxi, China). However, when asked to turn on her camera for a video call, she intentionally covered the lens, preventing her friend from seeing her face or surroundings. Strangely, her last recorded location was in Ankang (Shaanxi, China), not Weinan as she had claimed.
After her family and friends began spreading news of her disappearance, Long Lisha unexpectedly posted online, denying that she was missing. She insisted that she was safe and currently filming in Xi’an but was too busy to respond to messages. She urged her family and friends to delete and stop sharing posts about her disappearance. However, despite this reassurance, she has yet to send any photos or videos to confirm her safety, leaving her parents extremely worried and desperate.
Her family suspects that she may have been abducted, manipulated, and held captive by a scam organization. As a result, they have reported the case to the police. According to Sina, the Chaoyang District police in China have confirmed receiving reports from Long Lisha’s family, boyfriend, and the Communication University of China. Authorities have now launched an investigation and are urgently searching for the missing actress.
Recently, the Chinese entertainment industry has seen multiple cases of actors and models, including Wang Ting and Yang Zhaoqi, being trafficked across borders. Very few have been successfully rescued. The public is now hoping that Long Lisha will remain safe.
