According to media reports, Barbie Hsu’s South Korean husband, DJ Koo (Koo Jun Yup), tightly held onto her urn. The urn was pink—the actress’s favorite color when she was alive.
Barbie Hsu’s Two Children Appear at the Airport
One of the most emotional moments was when Barbie Hsu’s two children appeared at the airport with their stepfather and other family members to bring their mother home. Under the media’s lens, Barbie Hsu’s daughter wore a white hoodie, while her son donned a red varsity jacket. Reports revealed that Barbie Hsu’s daughter cried so much that her eyes were swollen, and throughout the journey, she kept her head down in sorrow.
It is known that Barbie Hsu’s urn has been placed at her residence. Her ex-husband, Wang Xiaofei, drove his luxury car to her house late at night to bid his final farewell.
Meanwhile, through her representative, Dee Hsu stated that the family would not hold a funeral or memorial service for her sister. She explained that Barbie Hsu had always led a private life, and respecting her wishes, the family decided not to organize any ceremonies. According to her friends, Barbie Hsu had repeatedly shared her final wishes:
“The funeral I want the most should be joyful and filled with laughter. Everyone should drink my favorite champagne and enjoy delicious food. When you attend, please don’t cry!”
