Cha Eun Woo Defeats G-Dragon, Jin to Return to Top 1 in K-pop Male Idol Reputation Rankings After 2 Months.
The Korean Business Research Institute has just announced the January 2025 brand reputation rankings for K-pop boy group members.
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 745 K-pop boy group members, using data from December 18, 2024 to January 18, 2025.
Astro’s Cha Eun Woo rose to the top of the list this month, with a brand reputation index of 6,101,873, marking a 14.36% increase in his score since December.
High-ranking phrases in Cha Eun Woo’s keyword analysis included “genius face,” “Rented in Finland,” and “look into his eyes.” His highest-ranking related terms included “power,” “handsome,” and “advertisement.”
Cha Eun Woo’s positivity-negativity analysis found 92.04% positive reactions.
Big Bang’s G-Dragon took second place in January with a brand reputation index of 4,987,489. BTS’ Jin took third place with a brand reputation index of 3,572,639.
BTS’ Jungkook rose to fourth place with a score of 3,317,509, up 41.20% from the previous month.
Finally, BTS’s Jimin entered the Top 5 with a brand reputation index of 3,041,320, up slightly 8.55% from December.
