“Just How Beautiful Is Song Hye-kyo’s Mother?” Witness Account Shared
On Jan 16th, Kang Min-kyung’s channel uploaded a video titled, “Part 2! Not Me, But Song Hye-kyo’s Vlog…”
The video featured a vlog of Song Hye-kyo meeting Kang Min-kyung at a restaurant specializing in grilled intestines. Song Hye-kyo casually ordered four servings of intestines along with soju and beer, giving off the impression of being a regular. The restaurant owner recognized Song Hye-kyo and mentioned that she had previously come with her mother. When Kang Min-kyung asked “Did Hye-kyo’s mother come too?“, the restaurant owner shared a witness account, “She’s very beautiful.” Song Hye-kyo added, “My mom is an extroverted ENFP. She loves spontaneity and is completely different from me.“
Song Hye-kyo shared that, as a child, her mother would tell her to let things flow naturally, saying, “Even if things go badly, it’s already happened. You can’t stop it.” Her mother would often advise, “It’s all part of the process. With time, good days will come, so just go with the flow.” Kang Min-kyung, moved by this, remarked, “Your mom is totally my style.” Song Hye-kyo then said, “My mom is truly amazing. She’s the best woman in my life. I’ve never said this to her, but I’m so grateful.“
Kang Min-kyung further complimented Song Hye-kyo, “The important thing is that despite having so many hits, you keep challenging yourself and growing. I respect that. If you look at her filmography, it shows how sincere she is.”
To this, Song Hye-kyo responded, “I work really hard, but my skills need to keep up. I think there are so many hardworking people around me. When I look at my peers, I see so many actors who are constantly striving to improve. Acting is tough.” She added, “Even though ‘The Glory’ received so much love last year, I’ve already moved on and started anew. I can’t fully indulge in the success for too long.” Song Hye-kyo explained, “At that moment, I was incredibly happy, but once my next project is set, the previous one is already in the past. I don’t want to cling to the success of one project because it would prevent me from moving on to something else.”
Meanwhile, Song Hye-kyo will meet audiences with her upcoming film “Dark Nuns”, set to premiere on Jan 24th.
