Revealing the identity of the big boss who beat and scolded Zhao Lusi for Two Hours in a Restroom
Chinese netizens are outraged by the violent actions of Zhao Lusi’s boss.
On December 31, Song Xinan, Zhao Lusi’s close friend, revealed the horrifying past of the 1998-born actress. According to Song, Zhao was physically abused and insulted by a senior executive at her management company, Galaxy Harsh Entertainment, for two hours while the latter was drunk. The incident left the Gen Z actress severely traumatized and in a prolonged state of depression. Song’s public accusation against the Galaxy Harsh Entertainment executive sent shockwaves across China and quickly trended as the top search on Weibo.
Chinese media and netizens immediately began investigating the identity of the executive who “physically attacked” Zhao Lusi. Current speculation points to Wu Xiaozhen, the head and legal representative of Galaxy Harsh Entertainment. According to limited information obtained by 163 News, Wu is a wealthy and influential businesswoman in China, owning 11 companies and holding shares in 7 others. Wu directly controls 16 multi-industry enterprises in the country, including Galaxy Harsh Entertainment.
What enraged the public further was the discovery that Wu Xiaozhen showed no concern for Zhao Lusi’s severe illness. Reports from Sina revealed that Wu was on an overseas vacation and did not visit the actress in the hospital.

Netizens speculate that Wu’s indifference contributed to Zhao Lusi’s depression. Over the years, Wu allegedly treated Zhao as a mere money-making tool, disregarding the young star’s mental health. Before falling ill, Zhao Lusi reportedly worked non-stop for 40 days, was forced into subpar film projects like Lovers, and underwent extreme weight loss, dropping to 38 kg in under a year.
Outraged fans flooded Zhao Lusi’s official studio Weibo, demanding a clear explanation from Galaxy Harsh Entertainment regarding the incident.
According to Song Xinan, Zhao Lusi entrusted him with exposing the abuse she faced at her management company. The incident occurred in April 2019, when Zhao was still a little-known actress primarily working in web dramas. Frustrated by her repeated casting rejections, the senior executive verbally and physically assaulted Zhao.
Song recounted that when Zhao returned home that night, she was terrified and curled up in a dark room. She told Song that her female boss had dragged her into a restroom and yelled at her for two hours, calling her incompetent, untalented, and unfit for lead roles because of her weight.
The verbal abuse continued until 2 a.m. When Zhao attempted to leave, the boss dragged her back and slapped her. Five witnesses were present at the time. While Zhao’s manager tried to comfort her, two other actors restrained the enraged boss. Zhao finally got home at 5 a.m., telling her friend in despair, “Why did she hit me? I’m so scared.”
Song urged Zhao to report the incident to the police, but the actress lacked evidence. Fearing her parents would shoulder the hefty contract termination fee, Zhao chose not to tell them. After the incident, the abusive executive shamelessly called Zhao’s parents, accusing her of being disobedient and justifying her actions as being “for Zhao’s future.” She offered a superficial apology, blaming her behavior on being drunk: “Sorry, I drank too much last night.”
Recently, Wei Xiao, another friend of Zhao Lusi, asserted that “someone must be held accountable for her current condition.” This has led netizens to believe that the negative experiences Zhao endured during her time with Galaxy Harsh Entertainment were a major factor in her physical and emotional collapse.
