Who Did Hyeri Spend Christmas With for 2 Consecutive Years After Breaking Up with Ryu Jun-yeol?
Singer and actress Hyeri revealed her close friendship with (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, as the two spent Christmas together for two consecutive years.
On December 20, Hyeri uploaded a video titled “My First Hot Spring Trip with Miyeon! Plus Sapporo Food Spots and the Munich Christmas Market” on her personal channel.
In the video, Hyeri shared her travel plans, saying, “I just finished filming a drama. In the face of new year, my Hyerongs (Hyeri’s fandom name) already know! I usually go on a trip after a shoot to clear my head,” and added, “I have plans for New Year’s and the holidays. I have to go with MIiyeon because I spent last Christmas with her too! If I spend Christmas with her this year, it’ll be two consecutive years,” expressing her excitement.

Later, Hyeri met Miyeon at the airport, and the two decided to head to a destination that embodied the Christmas spirit. Hyeri even suggested, “Let’s spend Christmas together next year, too.” The pair arrived in Sapporo, enjoying the enchanting Christmas scenery and creating joyful memories.
Previously, in November last year, Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol ended their public relationship after seven years. Both parties confirmed the breakup through OSEN, “It’s true that they have separated,” but refrained from discussing the reasons or timing, citing privacy concerns.

In March this year, rumors of a romance between Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee surfaced, leading to a stir when Hyeri posted a cryptic comment saying, “Interesting.” This sparked what was dubbed the “Interesting Incident,” fueling speculation about an unprecedented love triangle. However, Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee broke up just 14 days later.
Meanwhile, Hyeri continues to engage with fans through her YouTube channel and achieved remarkable success with her film “Victory,” which saw a resurgence in popularity.
For her next project, she has chosen a new drama titled “Friendly Rivalry.” The high-teen mystery thriller is set against the backdrop of a cutthroat survival competition more intense than academic exams, exploring the precarious relationships among teenage girls. The drama is slated for release in 2025.
