Na In Woo exempted from Military Service after awaiting Public Service call-up
Actor Na In Woo has been exempted from military service after waiting for his social service duty assignment.
On December 17th, his agency, HANADA COMPANY, told OSEN, “Na In Woo recently received an exemption notice from the Military Manpower Administration. He was classified as a level 4 reservist and was waiting for his enlistment, but after not receiving any call-up notice for three years, he became eligible for exemption.”
Earlier that day, a media outlet reported, quoting an industry insider, that “Na In Woo was recently exempted from military service while waiting for a social service call-up.”
According to the report, Na In Woo had been classified as a level 4 reservist after undergoing a physical examination but did not receive a call-up notice from the Military Manpower Administration for over three years, leading to his exemption. It was further reported that this year alone, over 10,000 individuals received similar dispositions, with Na In Woo being one of them.
Meanwhile, Na In Woo is set to appear in MBC‘s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Motel California,’ which premieres on January 10. ‘Motel California’ is a romance drama set in a rural motel, following the story of a female protagonist who was born and raised there. She reunites with her first love in her hometown, which she fled 12 years ago, leading to a series of ups and downs as they ‘remodel’ their first love.
