Gong Min Jung Announces Pregnancy At “Sorry Not Sorry” Press Conference
Actress Gong Min Jung has surprised fans with her pregnancy news at today’s press conference!
On the afternoon of December 2, KBS’s new Thursday drama “Sorry Not Sorry” held a press conference in Seoul. The event was attended by producing director Min Ji Young along with the lead actors Jun So Min, Gong Min Jung, Jang Hui Ryoung, Choi Daniel, and Kim Moo Joon.
“Sorry Not Sorry” tells the story of Ji Song Yi (Jun So Min), a single woman who abruptly breaks off her engagement. As she struggles to pay off her newlywed home loan, she faces challenges while trying to make ends meet in a new city, working various part-time jobs.
Gong Min Jung plays the role of Ji Song Yi’s old best friend Choi Ha Na, a working mother who solves everything including her pregnancy by documenting it in Excel.
During the press conference, Gong Min Jung made a surprise announcement by sharing, “Just like my character, I am currently pregnant. I am expecting to give birth soon. I have many things in common with the character Ha Na.”
She continued, “I am grateful that the character Ha Na in ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ came to me. Originally, the character was not supposed to be pregnant, but gratefully, the writer and production team changed the setting. I am thankful to be part of this project as I feel I can represent something as a mother-to-be.”
Gong Min Jung tied the knot with fellow actor Jang Jae Ho in September. The two actors, who are the same age, notably played a married couple in the hit tvN drama “Marry My Husband,” which aired earlier this year.
