An SNS update of BLACKPINK’s Rosé roused speculations about the female idol’s possible project with “Squid Game”.
Recently, the official SNS account of sports brand Puma, posted an Instagram story showing Netflix’s global sensation “Squid Game”.
The brand also added the caption “Puma X Squid Game”, hinting at a possible collaboration.
Meanwhile, previously on November 9, BLACKPINK’s Rosé published a photo showing a billboard of the upcoming season 2 of “Squid Game”, drawing attention. Additionally, the female idol mentioned in a podcast that she recently greeted a “Squid Game” actor, leading to speculations.
Not only that, on pann, many articles also revealed that, previously, BlackPink’s Rosé received new words to sing the OST for “Squid Game”.
In particular, Puma and BLACKPINK’s Rosé are having a collaborative relationship, and both the brand and the female idol have mentioned “Squid Game”, suggesting a project related to this series.
Coupled with Rosé dropping an album and “Squid Game 2” being released in December, fans started suspecting that Rosé may be working on an OST for the internationally famous K-drama.
According to fans, the track “Game Boy” in Rosé’s upcoming album “rosie” has a huge chance of being this speculated OST.
