“Philopon Positive” Kim Na-jung Claims “Forced to Inhale Drugs While Tied Up, Evidence Exists”
Kim Na-jung, embroiled in a drug scandal, claimed she was forcibly made to inhale drugs in the Philippines
On Nov 18th, Chosun.com reported a statement from Kim Na-jung’s legal representative, lawyer Kim Yeon-gi from the law firm Chungjeong, asserting that Kim Na-jung was forced to inhale drugs while on a business trip to the Philippines.
Regarding her trip to the Philippines, Kim Na-jung’s side denied the “sponsorship” suspicions, saying, “She went there to promote beauty products and met young businessman ‘A’.”
As for the drug use, Kim Na-jung’s side claimed, “While intoxicated during a drinking session, her hands were tied, and she was blindfolded before being forcibly made to inhale drug fumes by A.”
They further claimed that evidence of the incident remains on Kim Na-jung’s phone. They suggested, “It appears A, worried about issues arising if he filmed it with his phone, used Kim Na-jung’s phone to record the incident, intending to transfer the footage via AirDrop or similar means.”
In addition, Kim Na-jung’s side alleged, “Before forcibly administering the drugs, A showed Kim Na-jung a gun and made remarks suggesting that killing someone would be easy.” During police questioning, Kim Na-jung reportedly confirmed that A was a wanted individual involved in multiple crimes.
On Nov 12th, Kim Na-jung caused a stir by uploading a rambling post through her personal account, claiming she would confess to drug use. Upon her return to Korea, the Incheon International Airport Police conducted a drug test, which came back positive for philopon.
Accordingly, the Drug Crime Investigation Unit of the Gyeonggi Bukbu Provincial Police Agency booked Kim Na-jung without detention on Nov 15th for violating the Narcotics Control Act.
Lawyer Kim emphasized, “Kim Na-jung is a victim in this situation and intends to clarify this in subsequent proceedings. We ask for restraint from speculation and for support for Kim Na-jung during this time.”
Kim Na-jung, born in 1992, is a well-known lingerie model in South Korea. She graduated from Ewha Womans University and previously worked as a weather MC and editor at KBS. Five years ago, she gained greater fame after winning a modeling competition hosted by Maxim Korea magazine.
On social media, Kim Na-jung boasts a following of 245,000. She has also appeared on programs such as “No Back Tak Jae-hoon” and “The Community”.
