Prosecutors Release New Details on Liam Payne’s Death: Two Mysterious Women Appear
According to the autopsy results, Liam Payne’s body had a total of 25 injuries.
The British newspaper Express recently published a detailed article related to the initial investigation results surrounding Liam Payne’s death.
According to the investigation agency, they discovered that two mysterious women were with Liam Payne a few hours before the former One Direction member fell from a hotel balcony and died in Buenos Aires.
The two people were found by the police and prosecutors and were questioned. However, the identities of the two women are still being kept secret.
Currently, these two women are considered “key witnesses” but somewhat suspicious instead of suspects in Liam Payne’s death. This is given in the current context, where it is believed that this is an “unexplained” death.
Prosecutors said in their first official statement that they had interviewed five witnesses, including two mystery women and three hotel staff. An autopsy confirmed that Liam Payne had suffered 25 separate injuries.
In their lengthy statement, prosecutors also confirmed that they had taken “a number of substances” from Liam Payne’s room that they believe will prove he used them before he fell from the third-floor hotel balcony to his death. It is not yet clear who police think could have supplied the singer with the substances.
In addition, in the statement on the results of the autopsy, Liam Payne died of multiple injuries and internal and external bleeding due to a fall from the balcony of the hotel on the third floor. The prosecutor’s office pointed out that, according to the procedure, the circumstances of the case are being investigated as a ‘suspicious death’, although everything indicates that the singer was alone when the fall occurred and was experiencing some psychotic episodes due to substance abuse.
Forensic experts also said that after analyzing the victim’s hands, no self-defense injuries were found. All injuries on the body were life-threatening and occurred at the same time. No injuries were found that would indicate the intervention of a third party.
The prosecutor’s office said that, from the position of the body and the injuries caused by the fall, it is assumed that Liam Payne did not have a self-defense reflex to protect himself and may have fallen in a state of partial or complete unconsciousness.
However, the prosecutor’s office is still reconstructing the scene of the incident to determine whether there was any third party involvement.
