Kim Hyun Joong’s label responds to reports of SS501 reunion
Kim Hyun Joong’s label responded to reports of an SS501 reunion.
On October 17, reports stated SS501 will be reuniting as a 5-member group to celebrate their 20th anniversary since their debut next year. It was also reported the old-school group would be releasing a new Japanese album early 2025.
However, Kim Hyun Joong’s label HENECIA confirmed they have not received any notification about a reunion. The label stated, “We have not heard anything about the reunion of SS501. We have not been informed about it. As we have no information, we have nothing to respond.”
SS501 debuted in 2005 with members Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min, Kim Hyung Jun, Heo Young Saeng, and Kim Kyu Jong, achieving popularity both domestically and overseas. They concluded their activities in May of 2010 following the end of their contract with DSP Media. Kim Kyu Jong, Kim Hyung Jun, and Heo Young Saeng later formed the group SS301 in 2016 until 2018.
