Female singer accuses brother of theft, gambling, claims entire family has cut ties with him
The female singer caused a stir when she exposed her own brother.
A female singer caused a stir in the online community when she posted a public post exposing her own younger brother. The female singer wrote a long post, pointing out a series of her brother’s crimes that made her unable to stay silent and had to speak up to warn others.
Dior (also known as Da Ying) is a Malaysian singer and songwriter who has won fans all over the world with her emotional songs. Dior posted a series of photos on Instagram, along with a long share. In the first photo, her younger brother Chen An Sheng (also known as Ansenn Tan) is kneeling and crying. The following images are information about Chen’s social media accounts and private messages.
“Gambling, stealing, scamming people, borrowing money from loan sharks – he did it all. The brother I thought had changed completely – @ansenn_t. Don’t trust him if he wants to borrow money from you, no matter what the reason is. Don’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth anymore. He’s gone too far. It’s embarrassing and funny to post this, but I don’t think I need to stop more people from being scammed by him,” Dior explained about the reason for exposing his brother’s crimes.
“I have an obligation to protect everyone’s safety. When he borrowed money from others, he told everyone that his sister needed to go to school but had no money to pay the tuition. He told everyone that we were in the hospital. He took advantage of my brother being in the hospital for surgery to borrow money from friends, saying that he urgently needed to pay for my brother’s hospital fees. He really has no conscience.
Since I was a student, he started gambling and owed thousands, then tens of thousands, and finally hundreds of thousands of dollars. The amount was huge. Each time, we believed that it would be the last time. We gave him a chance again and again by paying off all his gambling debts. Yet he took advantage of our trust and had no regrets.
The image of his biological brother crying and begging was posted by Dior himself.
In 2010, he had to flee the country because of gambling debts. No one wanted to help him, so he came to me. At that time I had no money at that time, but he called me crying and saying that he was desperate and begging me for help. I really believed him at that time. I really, really believed that he would change. But I couldn’t do anything because I had no money.
I tried my best to earn money, but in the end, I didn’t earn any money, so I gambled too, haha. Maybe I went crazy at that time too. I gave him the money I won, asked my friend in Australia for help, bought him a plane ticket so that I could escape to another country and arranged a job for him. I thought he would be better off if he left the country.
But that situation kept repeating itself so many times that I lost count. In the past few years, he kept gambling and owed money. Recently, it got to the point where we couldn’t bear it.
He started scamming other people. Borrowed money from loan sharks, which led to my sister almost being kidnapped in front of the school. He stole my dad’s and my sister’s gold chains, pawned them, and gambled with the money. I still remember – I was filming a show with my dad when I heard the news. The host asked my dad about his favorite gift from his children, and my dad said it was the gold chain he received on Father’s Day. He pawned it on the same day.
He stole money from everyone in the family, our relatives, and his girlfriend. He scammed countless people, making them invest in the so-called ‘durian business’. He scammed his brother and his girlfriend’s father, scammed my sister’s employee’s mother, scammed everyone close to us and even those who weren’t. I still remember him stealing the only thing my late mother left me, worth about $200. He even started targeting my followers recently.
I don’t know why it had to come to this. I don’t want this guy to scam people just because he knows everyone trusts me. I don’t want my whole family to be responsible for all the bad things he’s done. I don’t want my whole family to live in fear, wondering if he’ll do something wrong again and wondering when someone will cause trouble at my sister’s store or if the loan sharks will come to visit us. I don’t want anyone texting me asking for money.
I don’t want to think about whether one day, on a show, someone will appear to cause trouble. It’s exhausting,” Dior told her brother’s full list of crimes.
Dior told her followers that her family had completely cut ties with Chen, and she advised anyone who had been scammed by him to file a police report. “Don’t believe anything he says,” she warned.
Dior ended her post with an apology to her followers. She told them that she was “heartbroken,” “mentally exhausted,” and “numb” by the pain her brother had caused, and that she didn’t want him to disrupt her life from now on.
