The Glory’s Actress Park Ji Ah Suddenly Passes Away Due to a Brain Hemorrhage!
Park Ji Ah played Song Hye Kyo’s mother in the movie “The Glory”. The actress recently passed away at the age of 52.
On September 30, JTBC reported that actress Park Ji Ah passed away at the age of 52 while battling a cerebral infarction. This news shocked Park Ji Ah’s colleagues and viewers.
A close associate of Park Ji Ah told JTBC Entertainment News, “She recently collapsed due to a cerebral infarction and fought hard in the hospital. But she could not recover and passed away. She was an actress with a great passion for acting, but it’s a pity.”
Park Ji Ah debuted in the movie Coastline in 2002. As a talented actress, she left a strong impression when playing the ghost Asako in the movies Gidam (2007) and Gonjiam (2018).
In particular, she has recently become more widely known to the public through her role as Jeong Mi Hee, the mother of Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo), in the Netflix series The Glory. The film has been a huge success in the global market.
Through the role of Jeong Mi Hee, Park Ji Ah has proven herself to be a talented actress with a passionate acting style. The funeral of the late actress was held at the funeral home of Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
