tvN is reportedly discussing the possibility of bringing Queen of Tears back for a second season!

The tvN series, which also streams on Netflix, has been pulling incredible viewership numbers throughout its run, so naturally, people are curious if there’s going to be a second season.
A recent Weibo post has revealed that tvN is reportedly planning a blockbuster that is expected to premiere in early 2025. tvN is said to be facing the challenge of declining revenue as its drama and advertising segments are unlikely to achieve their targets in the second half of the year.
So the production team is planning to take advantage of the fever that has not passed by Queen of Tears to bring it back for season 2. In the hope that it will be the trump card that brings revenue and ratings to tvN in the first quarter of 2025.
However, fans of the Queen of Tears series still have to wait for the official decision from tvN.
While the majority of netizens are eagerly waiting for information about season 2, there are still many people who think that it should only be used in season 1 because it is more than enough for a good movie, if the movie is continued, it may fail due to the long plot.
