Golden Boy Carlos Yulo: Revealing the sweet girlfriend who is always by his side to support him!
Filipino gymnastics ace Carlos Yulo completed his impressive medal collection by winning not just one but two Olympic golds.

Yulo made history as the Philippines’ first double Olympic gold medalist after ruling the floor exercise and vault in the men’s artistic gymnastics competition of the Paris Games.
And his success would not have been possible without the warm support of his sweet girlfriend Chloe San Jose.
From a starstruck fangirl to now being a girlfriend and a cheerleader, their relationship started with Chloe sliding into Caloy’s direct message on X (formerly known as Twitter) proving that sometimes you’ve got to make the first move, no matter who you are.
“Hi, I’m a fan po. Just came across your account and hindi na po kayo as active as before. I hope you’re doing well po. Stay safe. God bless,” then 18-year-old Chloe said in a message to Caloy last April 20, 2020. “Hello, hehe. Anyway, I’m doing great here. Thank you. Ikaw din diyan ingat and God bless,” the then 20-year-old Caloy replied.
“Awwe I didn’t expect you’d reply and even follow me back. Thank you so much. Have a great week ahead,” she responded.
What started as a simple interaction between a famous athlete and a dedicated fan turned into the beginning of something truly magical.
The quick exchange soon blossomed into a beautiful relationship.
Caloy had made Japan his training base and Chloe was studying in Melbourne, Australia. Despite the distance, their hearts always find a way back to each other.
From late-night video calls to cheering him on from across the globe, their bond grew stronger with every challenge.
After two years of LDR, they have finally met.
Chloe traveled from Australia to Hanoi, Vietnam, to watch the Golden Boy perform in the 31st Southeast Asian Games.
No matter the distance, Chloe remains supportive of Caloy. During the 2024 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup series, Chloe went to Doha, Qatar, to support Yulo, who then brought home not just one, but four gold medals in the all-around, floor, vault, and parallel bars.
“Sa partner ko na nag lalaan ng oras para maka-punta at ma-suportahan ako sa emotional at mental wellbeing ko at ma-make sure na nasa maayos akong kalagayan. Alam kong sobrang busy ka sa studies at work mo pero nandidito ka kasama ko para lumaban at matuto, maraming salamat mahal ko. Mahal na mahal kita Chloe,” posted Yulo on his Facebook.
“Your hard work, dedication, and passion for your sport shines truly through in every competition. Being there live and seeing you succeed and achieve your goals fills my heart with so much love and pride,” Chloe shared their snaps on her account as well.
After years of relentless training and unwavering determination, Carlos Yulo has finally reached the pinnacle of his dreams, securing the Olympic gold medal he’s worked so hard for since he was just seven-years-old.
And through every twist and turn, Chloe, his ever-incredible girlfriend, has been right by his side.
