Hani And Fiancé Yang Jae-woong Bombarded With Malicious Comments “Please Reconsider The Marriage”

On July 29th, netizens left negative comments on Hani’s SNS channel, mentioning her marriage to psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong.
Previously, on July 26th, a media outlet reported that a patient died 17 days after being admitted to a hospital run by a famous psychiatrist.
CCTV footage from the single room in the psychiatric hospital showed staff tying the patient’s hands and feet despite the patient complaining of stomach pain, and taking no significant action even as the patient’s abdomen swelled and they had a nosebleed.
Netizens are increasingly suspecting that the psychiatric hospital in question is operated by Hani’s fiancé, Dr. Yang Jae-woong.
The patient was hospitalized for treatment of addiction to diet pills containing narcotics but died after 17 days. The family of the deceased stated, “We sought out this hospital specifically because the psychiatrist is famous and talked about the addiction program. Until the moment of death, they kept the patient tied up in a single room, only giving medication.”
Netizens left comments on Hani’s SNS such as, “Announcing your wedding just 4 days after such an issue, really amazing“, “Be careful with your future husband“, “Marrying a show doctor, you should reconsider” and “Hani, can’t you not get married?“
There were also speculative and critical comments like, “The victim’s family is protesting loudly. Did Hani really not know? Birds of a feather flock together“, “The victim’s family protests daily in front of W hospital. Hani and Yang Jae-woong are the same” and “Hani has always had poor judgment in choosing men.”
Yang Jae-woong’s SNS channel also faced criticism. Comments included, “Imagine the pain the patient must have endured“, “We can see how you will make excuses” and “Face the consequences. Only those who value life should become doctors.”
Meanwhile, Yang Jae-woong and Hani began their public relationship in June 2022 and announced their marriage for this September. Last month, Hani stated on her Instagram, “I met someone I want to spend my life with. So, I decided to get married. I will live happily with gratitude. Thank you deeply to everyone who congratulated us.“
