On June 1, NHK reported that Maya Yano – singer and guitarist of the famous Japanese band TUYU – was arrested on charges of attempted murder.
Specifically, Maya Yano used a knife to attack his teenage girlfriend while she was sleeping. After stabbing his girlfriend in the left chest, Maya Yano called the police and ambulance himself.
