Set for June, this upcoming nuptial not only signifies a union of hearts but also brings forth a significant inheritance, as Song Seung-hyun is confirmed to inherit his future father-in-law’s restaurant business in the United States.
This news follows closely on the heels of Song Seung-hyun’s recent announcement on February 15, where he took to his social media platforms to reveal his decision to retire from the entertainment industry. In his message, Song Seung-hyun expressed, “After much contemplation, I have decided to leave the entertainment industry and possibly leave Korea to start a new chapter in my life. It has been four years since I departed from the team F.T. Island to pursue a career as an actor. The challenges were not only in adapting to new endeavors but also in facing the uncertainties of unpredictable waiting periods and complex interpersonal relationships”, as quoted by Kbizoom. He further stated, “While there are no easy tasks or simple relationships in any field, I aim to embrace a healthy and disciplined new life that I can tackle day by day. I wanted to convey my gratitude to the fans who have been patient and supportive, and I sincerely hope that both you and I can lead healthy and happy lives without physical or emotional distress. Accompanying his announcement, Song Seung-hyun shared a recent photograph of himself. He also updated his SNS profile with cryptic messages, including “2024 – 202? Song Seung-hyun’s journey in the entertainment world began in 2009 when he joined F.T. Island as a guitarist. Following the expiration of his exclusive contract with the agency in 2019, he transitioned to acting, showcasing his talent in various projects such as the web drama ‘Oh! My Assistant’ and the play ‘Lost Village’.
