Specifically, member Haru caused a surprise when appearing in a promotional video of an adult entertainment facility/bar in Japan as a hostess. She introduced herself as Sakura Ruru, a former Korean idol: “I’m an employee who has only worked for 3 months. At the age of 18, I debuted as a Kpop idol and worked for 6 years. I’m currently working as a flight attendant to save money to open my own dance studio.”
Even moments when Haru performed at fan meetings or music shows when she was still active as a Kpop idol were also inserted into promotional videos. According to the Korean newspaper, Haru’s new job will include drinking and serving customers. The information immediately shocked fans and created some controversy on social networks.
In response to fans’ reactions, Haru spoke up reassuringly and affirmed that she really likes her new job. “I don’t think this will cause a stir on Twitter. NATURE is a 7-member girl group that debuted in 2018. Before disbanding, the name NATURE was extremely obscure in the harsh Kpop market. After 6 years of operation, NATURE announced its disbandment.
