On May 1, Japanese police announced the arrest of actor Wakayama Yaoto (20 years old) on suspicion of being involved in a murder and body burning case in Nasu town, Tochigi province. In addition to Wakayama Yaoto, three other suspects were also arrested on similar charges.

According to information from the police, on April 16, people discovered two charred bodies of a man and a woman. Initial investigation revealed that the two victims were a Japanese-Chinese couple. They are famous businessmen in the food service field in Tochigi Prefecture.
Actor Wakayama Yaoto and his accomplices were discovered to be involved after police checked the area’s security cameras. Wakayama Yaoto’s accomplices appeared at the private home of the two victims at midnight on April 16. After that, these people contacted Wakayama Yaoto and together used a car to transport the body to the disposal site.
Currently, one of the suspects has pleaded guilty but the purpose of the crime has not been revealed. Japanese police said they will continue to collect more evidence and investigate the case.
