Han So Hee canceled her main role in the new webtoon-based drama ‘Delusion’ in which Ryu Joon Yeol was supposed to play the male lead.
Actress Han So Hee is said to have decided to leave the cast of the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Delusion in the context of her recent breakup with her ex-boyfriend, who is said to be starring in the film.
Previously, on March 6, media outlets reported that Ryu Jun Yeol will have another project with director Han Jae Rim. According to reports, Ryu Jun Yeol will be joining Han So Hee in leading the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Delusion.
Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency CJES Entertainment shared their side regarding the reports. According to them, “Ryu Jun Yeol received the offer to star in Delusion and he is currently reviewing it.”
Delusion will be the second K-drama project of director Han Jae Rim. He is known for creating the hit movies The Face Reader, Emergency Declaration, The King, and more.
The upcoming K-drama will base its story on a webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga that was serialized on Naver in 2019. It will tell the story of a poor painter who was commissioned to draw a vampire woman in the background of Gyeongseong in 1935 .
Delusion will reported be produced as a K-drama and it is currently in discussion to be released through an OTT platform.
This will be his third project with director Han Jae Rim. The two previously worked in the 2017 hit movie The King. Ryu Jun Yeol will also be one of the main leads of director Han Jae Rim’s first-ever K-drama titled The 8 Show.
