Hyeri Deletes Apology, Posts New YouTube Video Amid Han So Hee – Ryu Jun Yeol Controversy
Hyeri uploaded a video on her YouTube channel just two hours after posting a lengthy apology letter, amidst continued public scrutiny.
On March 18th at 4 p.m. KST, Hyeri posted a lengthy apology letter on her Instagram. She expressed sincere apologies for the speculation and controversies arising from her personal emotions, saying, “I will be more careful in my words and actions from now on.”

The apology addressed the controversy surrounding her recent acknowledgement of her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol and the ‘transit love’ controversy involving him and his current girlfriend, Han So Hee.
Just over two hours after posting the apology letter, at around 6 p.m. KST, Hyeri uploaded a video titled ‘If you’re traveling to Southeast Asia, watch this video’ on her YouTube channel ‘Hyeri’. Along with the video upload, the apology letter previously posted on her Instagram was taken down.
While she uploaded an enjoyable travel video in Southeast Asia, the comment section was mostly filled with discussions about the ongoing controversy.
Some netizens view Hyeri as the ‘winner who has overcome the controversy,’ while others criticized her for hastily resuming activities just two hours after posting a public apology. Fans of Hyeri responded positively, “Why should she hold back? She is the real winner,” while those against her commented, “Is she really mentally strong to post a video after publishing an apology letter just within 2 hours?”
Some netizens defended Hyeri’s position regarding her travel video, stating, “It could have been a pre-planned sponsored video, and there might have been a deadline for the project, which is why the video couldn’t be postponed.”
Earlier, Hyeri stirred controversy by posting on her Instagram story with the caption ‘Interesting’ regarding the dating rumor involving Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee. Han So Hee responded, “There is no ‘transit love’ in my life. It’s interesting for me too,” further fueling the controversy. Eventually, Hyeri, who initiated the controversy, posted an apology letter.
