BTS’s V (Kim TaeHyung) joins the ‘Korean Army Special Mission Team’!
Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, begins his next stage of training in the military.
On January 16, Taehyung completed his five-week basic training after entering the Nonsan Training Center on December 11. Due to his exceptional performance, he was honored as one of the six elite trainees out of the two hundred recruits.
On January 18, Taehyung was spotted taking the train to Jonghaenggyo Bridge to enter the Army General Administration School.
He was dressed from head to toe in his military uniform, carrying a black backpack on his shoulders, and holding another large military bag in his hands.

Taehyung was promoted to a Platoon Leader in within 18 days of enlisting.
Taehyung also became one of the 6 soldiers who obtained Elite status.

Since Taehyung chose to join the counter-terrorism unit, Special Task Force of the Capital Defense Command (aka Special Duty Team), he has to undergo an additional three weeks of training at the Army General Administration School before being deployed to his unit.
Korean military newspaper said Kim TaeHyung was probably born to become a warrior!
