On the afternoon of December 27, Xports News reported that the funeral of late artist Lee Sun Kyun was held at Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul. According to Korean media, the actor’s wife, Jeon Hye Jin, wanted to hold a private funeral. She could hardly stop crying since the actor passed away. Korean reporters arrived at the venue but could not enter due to tight security.

At 10:00 a.m. on December 27, Lee Sun Kyun was found dead in a car at a park in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

According to The Fact, a series of entertainment events were canceled after information about Lee Sun Kyun’s death was announced. Actor Kim Seong Gyu, taking on the role in the movie Noryang: The Sea of Death, plans to meet reporters and conduct an interview at 1:00 p.m. on December 27. However, the Noryang: The Sea of Death crew decided to cancel the interview schedule.
