Female singer rising to fame has to sell boxed meals after a love scandal with her boyfriend.
On July 11th, the Mirror reported that the female singer Cai Zi intends to return to her artistic activities after a period of temporarily ceasing singing, living in hardship, and having an unstable job.
According to the Mirror, reporters spotted Cai Zi selling food at the market in the morning, earning about 400 NDT (approximately 1,600 USD) per day. Every month, the singer earns around 12,000 NDT (approximately 1,600 USD). However, she has to start working at 5 am and finish at 8 pm.
The strenuous outdoor work in the hot environment has made Cai Zi feel tired. The singer expressed that she misses her fans and hopes to be able to sing again.
Previously, in 2021, Cai Zi was involved in a scandal regarding her romantic relationship with her boyfriend. The scandal damaged Cai Zi’s reputation, and she was abandoned by the audience. She had to announce a temporary cessation of her artistic activities to seek psychological treatment. At the same time, her management company criticized Cai Zi for not adhering to the company’s regulations, not reporting on her romantic relationship, and causing the scandal, so they terminated the contract with her.
“After the scandal, I cried every day, washing my face with tears, crying until I felt tired and then fell asleep. I deeply regret it and feel depressed, frustrated, and disappointed. Afterward, it took me a year to undergo psychological treatment. Currently, I feel that I can’t keep sinking into negative thoughts, so I’m trying to regain balance in my life,” shared Cai Zi.
The singer further revealed that initially, she didn’t have the courage to return to the entertainment industry, so she found a job selling breakfast at the market. As she graduated from the Nursing Department and holds a nursing degree, she used to work as a nurse at a rural clinic, administering Covid vaccines to the people. This was considered a charitable activity to restore Cai Zi’s image. In the near future, Cai Zi plans to organize a concert and hopes to gain forgiveness and support from the audience.
