Model Abby Choi was cremated after 4 months.
The family and friends of Hong Kong model Abby Choi hold a final farewell ceremony for her, the model’s body parts will be cremated.
On June 19, the family and friends of the brutally murdered Hong Kong model Abby Choi expressed their condolences and sent her off for the last time. On the same day, the model’s body parts will be cremated at Po Lin monastery.
Chris Tam, her husband Thai Thien Phuong, and her mother, Ms. Cheung Yin-fa, were present at the Po Fook memorial house, Tai Wai area.
The two-day private ceremony was held with pink as the main color – Abby Choi’s favorite color – instead of the traditional black and white.
On the morning of June 19, more than 150 guests visited the female model for the last time.
Ms. Abby Choi’s family, including her mother and the children believed to be Ms. Thai’s children, left in a private vehicle.
The female model left behind 4 children, including 2 children with her ex-husband and 2 children with current husband Chris Tam.
Hundreds of people visited the model on June 18, including many celebrities, including Hong Kong singer Kwok Fu Sing and her close friend wife Abby Choi.
Hong Kong model Abby Choi was reported missing on February 21. On February 24, police first found the model’s personal items and body parts in a house owned by her ex-father-in-law Kwong Kau in Tai Po.
Alex Kwong (28 years old) is Abby Choi’s ex-husband, along with her father Kwong Kau (65 years old) and brother Anthony Kwong (31) are being detained for allegedly killing the model.
Abby Choi’s ex-mother-in-law, Jenny Li, 63, is also being held on charges of obstructing justice by destroying evidence of the case. Ms. Li applied for bail twice but failed.
