The video showcases her being pelted with eggs and water, along with the destruction of her set on the red carpet. She then uses her beauty products to touch up her makeup, revealing the staged nature of the event and the advertisement behind it. On February 27th, the video was reuploaded by a Twitter user, quickly going viral on the platform.

Subsequently, on March 1st, 2023, another Twitter user shared a shortened version of the video, focusing solely on the woman being pelted and omitting the reveal. This abbreviated clip garnered more than 18 million views within a week, as people began using it as a reaction video.

Over the following week, the clip gained popularity on Twitter as users paired it with captions describing situations where they feel disrespected or express unpopular opinions. For instance, on March 3rd, user @Uhhmmily tweeted the video, describing how she feels when no one asks her about the song she just played. The tweet received over 11,000 retweets and 135,000 likes (shown below, top). On March 4th, Left at London also shared the clip, jokingly relating it to how she feels when she orders coleslaw. This tweet garnered over 400 retweets and likes within five days (shown below, bottom).
